Kestrel 3500

The Kestrel 3500 provides comprehensive environmental measurements with the simplicity of the Kestrel 1000. The Kestrel 3500 scrolls through the current readings of nine different weather variables, packing quite a punch into a package that weighs about two ounces!
The Delta T version (Kestrel 3500 DT) offers a quick guide to determining acceptable spraying conditions for agricultural interests. This unit incorporates barometric pressure correction in its wet bulb temperature calculation, ensuring accuracy even on low pressure days, at high altitudes, and in the very dry weather when Delta T monitoring is important.
Much dimmer than a standard backlight, the night vision version of this model (Kestrel 3500 NV) has a night-vision preserving backlight, which helps to maintain the user's natural night vision.

Night-vision preserving electroluminescent backlight (Kestrel 3500 NV). Backlight incorporates optical filter to reduce overall brightness and minimize blue and green spectrum light to preserve night vision. Please note: This backlight appears soft greyish pink, not "red," and is still in the visible spectrum, so is not compatible with night-vision equipment.
